Afyonkarahisar: Two plants on a Synnada coin

A Synnada bronze coin, dated after 133 BCE, shows poppy and wheat between the caps of the Dioscuri on its reverse. Those motifs belong to this single issue; they do not establish a long or continuous farming tradition. One small object preserves a specific choice of image, not a province-wide crop history.
