The official museum map point at 37.709379, 28.727088 marks the documented entrance and museum access in Geyre, Karacasu, Aydın. The ancient city and marble quarries are separate but connected components of the World Heritage property.
Time
The local marble production landscape developed through the Hellenistic and Roman periods. The excavated workshop remained active at least until about AD 400, while the sanctuary and its imagery continued through major late-antique change.
Community
Quarry workers, haulers, sculptors and apprentices form a documented production chain, although the individual names and daily schedules of most workers are not preserved. Contemporary Karacasu pottery is a separate craft tradition, not a proven uninterrupted line from ancient marble sculpture.
